A VERY EXCITING WEEKEND

So this weekend my son got married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Saturday night! His wife planned the whole thing and the parents were not involved at all! She did an excellent job. We didn’t invite anybody! Of course my son invited my sister and hubby’s sister and they came. All the way from Toronto. Others came from Florida and Vancouver. It was very informal. We walked down the aisle and stood under the HUPPAH while the ceremony was being performed! The food was delicious. The music was LOUD! My daughter-in-law danced the night away and then all of a sudden she disappeared!!!!!!!!!! My daughter found her sleeping in the bride’s room!!!!! She’ll never live that down. I have pictures! I think I will make them a scrapbook from their wedding.
My daughter and her boyfriend slept here and it was fine. It gave us a chance to get to know him better!
My hubby celebrated his 75th birthday. I can’t believe he is so old!!!!!!
Friday night I made supper for the out-of- towners. Luckily it was only a small group as I decided too late.
We went to the doctor Friday for our semi-annual check-up. Luckily we are both fine. I have to go for a mammogram. I also have to go back to the dermatologist as she saw something on my back she didn’t like. I think it’s been there a long time but I will go check it out before Florida.
The Jewish holidays start Wednesday night. I have to make supper Wednesday night so will buy a standing rib today. I am not making a typical supper at all. I’ll make the standing rib with potatoes and a salad. Not sure what else. No chicken soup! I’ll have apples and honey and honey cake. Thursday we will go to the synagogue for services. Then the children will come here for lunch.
So I already did my exercise. I seem to be losing weight very slowly as for whatever reason I am eating much less than usual. I am 207 but I would love to get under 200. My highest was about 215 or more.

We are starting to think about Florida. Hubby will leave around October 25th and I’ll probably leave November 1. I can’t believe it is winter again or it is right around the corner.
So time to get going. I want to visit my friend and her husband at the geriatric hopital. I also have to call the drugstore and hospital for an appointment.
