A SMELLY BATH-read

Last night I was watching my grandson while he played in the bath. I was sitting at the edge of the bath. He was splashing and having a blast. I was getting soaked. Finally I went to sit on the toilet. As I watched I had the feeling that he had to make a poo! I didn’t know if I should sit him on the potty or not.  He is being toilet trained but just started. Anyhow I finally decided to stand up and there was POO all over the bathtub. Lucky I got up before his mother came in. Anyhow I grabbed him and wrapped in a towel. His mother came. I asked her if she wanted to clean the bathtub or watch her son. Of course I ended up picking the poo out of the bathtub. I washed all the toys while her mother cleaned out the bathtub. I guess I should have followed my instinct and taken him out of the bath. Anyhow we put him back in the bath. His mother washed him thoroughly and he was as good as new.

Oh gosh! I never had that happen, but Joey did poop on the floor once when I was letting him crawl around diaperless (the doctor said this would cure his rash). You’re a wonderful grandma! I love hearing about the fun you have with your grandson. hugs, Weesprite

Now th ere — aren’t kids full of surprises???

Whew —!! That does not sound like fun!!! Four kids, and I never had this experience…. was I lucky or WHAT???

As Gavin DeBecker always says, LISTEN TO YOUR INNER INSTINCTS !!! lol… Gavin is the author of the book called, “The Gift of Fear” , a great book that has nothing to do with the poo thing, but has to do with listening to ourselves because we are always right.
