A NEW COURSE

I would like to develop a new course for schools which would be compulsory. It would start in nursery and continue until students had a job after university. Some of the many topics it would include would be:

communication skills

financial issues including budgeting

marriage skills – how to compromise – how to make a commitment etc.

parenting skills – how to raise children

how to get along in society – how NOT to be prejudiced etc.

the responsibility of voting – importance of keeping up with politics

learn all about different countries and lifestyles

how to work with others

writing a resume

a lot of role playing interviews with prospective employers

step by step on finding a job –  this would continue until the student found a job

nutrition

how to deal with marriage, work and family

how to do laundry

math without calculators

long discussions on what a person should take in university

how to use their inborn talents to make a living even if it means no university

of course courses in sex, getting along with the opposite sex and how to avoid sexual transmitted diseases

I would start most of these courses very young and build on their knowledge as they grew up and matured.
