A GOOD DAY

This morning I slept in till about 9 or later. Hubby left for golf early. I didn’t hear him get up, get ready and leave.  I had breakfast. A few friends stopped to chat. We went into town as I had a parcel to mail before noon. We stopped at Walmart so I could buy a cake for my friend’s anniversary tonight. Some of my friends wanted to know why I was buying the cake. That it wasn’t really their party. It was just the last night we all go out before the end of the summer. Some thought she should buy her own cake. SAY WHAT???????????? I’ll never understand people. Is it because they are so cheap?????? I picked up an anniversary card and a few other things. Then we came home. I had lunch and I did the Wii. Hubby came home. His friends came over so I went to have a nap.
We went to a very nice restaurant for supper. For whatever reason most people didn’t enjoy the food. Hubby and I have gone their a few times and always enjoyed the food. They complained that the roast beef was bland. These people usually go for a Chinese buffet or pizza. I HATE CHINESE BUFFETS.
After supper we stopped at price Chopper so I bought stuff that I need for the Jewish Holidays which start on Wednesday.
So all in all I can’t complain about my day and I certainly shouldn’t complain about my life.

People who are cheap like that are just pathetic to me. They don’t realize how freeing and wonderful it feels to be generous. The saddest thing is that they are probably even more stingy to themselves than they are to others.
