A FEW MINUTES- edited

My friend should be here any minute. We will do scrapbooking and in the afternoon paper tole. This evening I am going to see Cirque Du Soleil with my daughter, DIL and her mother. So I have a full day.

Yesterday I had some gum surgery. It went very well. I have no pain at all. Thank goodness. I did take some pain killers but only in anticipation of pain

So my friend came. We didn’t do very much. Usually others come for the afternoon but since none was coming we took advantage. We went to out favourite Chines restaurant for lunch. Then we went to make copies and bought some boards to mount our pictures.

It rained just about all day. YUK!!!!!!!!

Tonight I picked my daughter up at work and we went out for supper. We had delicious steaks.

Then we were off to Cirque Du Soleil. We met my DIL and her mother. I was very disappointed in the show. I found it very amateurish! There was very little acrobatics and what there was was nothing compared to what I have seen. I think I have seen my last Cirque Du Soleil.

Glad you don’t have any pain… that surgery can be VERY painful! My mom had it a few years ago… the meds made her pretty loopy. Entertaining for us… not so much for her… *LOL*

Cirque du soleil… that sounds like fun.

I’m SO DISAPPOINTED about the Cirque — I have always wanted to see one! I can’t imagine being disappointed like that — pooh! Maybe I’ll save my money! – Hey, you have some great hobbies and sounds like some nice friends too….

thats interesting that you were dissappointed in it….I’ve heard so many good reports. Often though, we are so sucked in by all the hype that something can be a let-down…..at least you had a night out. hugs

Which Cirque did you see? We saw Varekai a couple of years ago and it was awesome! So sorry you didn’t like it.
