The sarky cow

(sarky old geezer)

Oh, the sardonic, knowledgeable, and clever man, His wit is razor keen, making fun of everything. He will solve all of the great mysteries of the world while he is lounging about. “I’m sure success is just running late,” he says, mocking ambitions and fate. He looks up and gives a slight sneer, “Oh yes, life’s so sincere.”

He says, “A modern philosopher? No, really, he is humble.” Yes, that is my business. Every comment is dripping with a hint of irony. So astute, so perceptive, but never excessive. Beneath the humour and intelligence, though, is a man weary of acting a little bit. Since the reality is too painful or raw to handle, it is easy to wear the shield of sarcasm.
