~ Friends ~ ..and more
Why is it so difficult for friends to keep in touch? Is it just me? What am I doing wrong?
It feels like friends contact me when they have nothing better to do.
It hurts.. and yet, I keep hoping.

My mom and niece came to visit last week. They helped me get everything unpacked and I’ve been working this week on getting things organized to my liking.
I knew that the electricity cost here was high. I was hoping it wouldn’t be as horrible as I’d imagined. We have kept our thermostat set at 76 degrees. We have tried setting it higher and the house gets too hot and then it takes longer to cool things off. I checked our bill online today and it’s $334 for 41 days. I am telling myself it could be a lot worse.
I went to the doctor yesterday cuz I have a heel spur. I’ve been in pain while waiting for our new health insurance to kick in. I must say, I love our new doctor and I love the $5 co-pay. We have great insurance now and I’m so very thankful. Our previous insurance was awful and we had a $45 co-pay for doctor visits.
Hubby went to a restaurant tonight that has all you can eat fish. I’m not a fan of fish at all and can hardly stomach the smell. I decided to stay home and veg online while watching tv. He texted me a while ago and said he’s enjoying the karaoke and plans to sing. I hope he’s having a good time.
I think this weekend will be for relaxing…
My electric bill for ac is about 400.00 a month. The house isn’t well built and, every time the front door open, the main floor gets hot again. Downstairs, where the bedrooms are, you freeze. I have 2 friends, out of all of my friends of a life time that I can count on. We call each other all the time and keep in touch with msn, in between. I guess those are the true friends.

Being married to the military it is very hard to keep in touch with people. But some of my friends are worse than others. I know we all get busy life keeps us moving. But I have a few friends that if I dont contact them I’d never hear from them. Sad but true. I try not to take it personally but sometimes i get tired and give up. even with technology now a days! Oh man our july electricity …

…bill was $300 we keep our thermostat at 78 in South Carolina. I am feeling that pain! yaya for new insurance/doctors and copays (well not yaya for copays but for cheat copays!)

I’m having copay envy! Ours just went up to 50-55 bucks, depending if you use a specialist. Ugh! Ryn: thanks! You’re so sweet!

RYN: yes, the kids are cute. My daughter needs to write a book on their antics. Hey, I just read this post. I understand completely. I’m actually going thru this with Andy right now. He won’t talk to me. It drives me crazy. Women are so relational and guys don’t understand at all.

I think everyone feels that way about their friends sometimes. I always envisioned having a ton of friends in my twenties and going out, but people are pretty much in their own little worlds most of the time. oh and I love your Eeyore pictures…I am a HUGE Eeyore fan, I have Eeyore everything: jammies, slippers, shirts, watch and there is great Eeyore stuff at Walmart right now…hoping Santa will bring me some of it this year!
