like whispers so suddenly
he surrounded her solitude
and spoke so softly,
and soothed like a song.

like comforting chords
from a musical melody
he swallowed her sorrows,
and helped her belong.

like the protection of night
so strong and so deep,
he pulled her head into his chest
and there let her weep.

like water droplets in mid air
her tears they did fall,
but he dried them away
till there were none at all.

like a forgotten jigsaw puzzle
he put her back piece by piece
and he stayed by her side
making her life more complete.

This one is incredibly cheesy, but sometimes I can’t help it. I have the cheese naturally inside of me. 😉
