Floating to earth, you fell,
sparkling, shimmering, glimmering-
like tiny white snowflakes
that delicately descend
to the tip tops of trees,
creating a flawless landscape,
making the dullest of days,
even in the dead of dark winter,
seem worth waking up to.
And so, I arose in your embrace,
and I couldn’t tell
where your skin ended
and mine began-
Like when the sun kisses the ocean
with her golden glow,
warming the blue with her arms,
and heaven and earth for a moment,
are one;
no end, and no beginning.
Limbs, lips, and love-
woven together,
we are an endless circle
fueling each others hearts.
