More Lifely things.

Like children, we played Sunday morning away then Master and Commandered the afternoon. It was a joy to be mindless. Even while walking my two miles, it was good to be mindless.

The Star came by us as we were walking, and there we were without a camera. It was amazing to just sit on a bench and watch her move by with her masts and spars towering against the sky.

Dinner together, then Ba to see Queer Eye for the Straight Guy for a brief while. She had never seen it before, and you should have seen us guffawing and delighting in the chaos.

Monday morning errands then a drive inland to have lunch with Carrie. She is back from a wonderful cruise, back from a stay at a time share, and willing to share the joy of almost all of it with me. The not all is the Mr. Hyde she lives with. A trade off for the wonderful life she is able to live. I understand trade offs.

I understand living vicariously too. Eldest daughter Marie is acting out the battered women’s syndrome. Finally this ass hole who beat her is being brought up on charges. Marie isn’t willing to show up in court. She feels he has served enough time. Time for battering his wife……not for battering my daughter. Lenora has been subpoenaed. She is willing to go up and testify, but says the DA is going to have to “pull it out of her.” She is unwilling to lie for her sister. I hurt horribly…never does a bit of good to show it tho.

When not lunching with Carrie, I did housewifely things. Library, store, cook, clean…..oh poor me.

I understand living vicariously. You have to have a sense of humor. This evening we blessed Mohave with her Disney goodies, and we delighted in this small child as she ate her Chinese with electric Minnie Mouse ears glowing and blinking from the top of her head.

I hope they convict the guy and stick him in a cell and throw away the key. Nothing like a dear child to end your day with a smile. 🙂

Hope the batterer receives what he deserves – also wondering if a certain Hairy Iranian has had boils on his butt for the last eight or so years (ex son-in-law and also a batterer). Talk about living vicariously …

Oh, to be mindless…………my brain is burned by mid afternoon these days, but that is not at all the same thing. Sorry about your daughter’s life drama. It’s a dangerous one.

can just see the blinking and stuff going on over chopsticks lolol..

g? Dangnabbit here in OD is an advocate of abuse issues; involved alot. don’t know if that’s helpful for you or not. Dang’s name is Margreth and she’s a 4-5 year OD’er like me…….just thought i’d mention it

At last I’ve found you… I’ve been watching ITW and didn’t see you. I’m so very sorry about your daughter. Hopefully, the DA will pull what needs to be pulled out of Lenora. Stick it to him, I say! And I would have loved to see the baby in the glowing MM ears! Wonderful… I’ve been ill with a respiratory bug — no walking for me :/ Perhaps next week… wedding is 11 days away. Tehachap

Sorry about your daughter. She has a lot of company. Can’t understand why men beat up women. They’re supposed to be loved- not battered!
