Hibernation…..
.thats what I really should have been doing. In this case, when my youngest daughter is my boss and we cant always communicate, I should have just stayed home, in the bathtub and hibernated. That would have been a good thing yesterday.
I double checked with G, but a template is a template anyway you look at it.
And, I sent the info to you in the email does no good if one has no idea how to use the email program. Oy! I had to call my angry daughter and ask her where the email was in Explorer.
What program do you use at home, mother?
The oldest Netscape around as it is not usually targeted for viruses, I replied. I didnt mention to her that I do use Explorer as my browser. She didnt ask about that. So now I know what that white square with blue thingies is. Down there at the bottom it is.
So I had a steep and noncommunicative learning curve yesterday. Did I say that.
My online boss says I have been forwarding posts to the list that include quotes from her. I cant find these quotes. I cant see them. Its as if they are invisible to what ever I have left in the way of grey matter. Very teeth grinding, to say the least.
So after two frustrating days living with me, Im ready to retire and go swim in some gently warmed and sunny pool. I cannot say that living with me has ever been easy, and having worked with head injury patients in the past I know how difficult they are to deal with. Its just that days like yesterday leave me more than frustrated and longing for the retirement I cant afford again. I come home and cry. I cried at work before I headed home. I almost quit several times before I cried. We would really be monetarily hurting if I quit, and the momentary peace would just end up as rice and beans and resentments. Ah, reality.
So its off to work and another day of steep learning curves. At least I now know how to open my work email. How bout them beans.
Sorry you had such a rough time yesterday. Hope the bumps are all smoothed out today. xoxo

Daughters can be a pain at times. I use IncrediMail for my e-mail program. It is a free download and is a fun program. You can find it at http://www.incredimail.com. It is not a Microsoft program. Hope today is better than yesterday.

Face it; some days is just doesn’t pay to get out of bed, but there are other better ones to come. There will be bad ones too, but there will be good ones as well. 🙂

Ain’t it the pits to have brains that are better served as mush?? My favorite statement to computer repair technicians is, “Would you believe that at one time in my life I used to beta test software, wrote computer programs, and trained people to use the computer?” In my next breath I’d cry out, “I can’t get my e-mails to come through.” AGAIN! Feeling for you… Tehachap
