Picture Update

Since I’m not working and I have some time to waste before I car top our kayaks for an evening excursion I’ll share some pictures. To keep the size down, I’m not including pictures of the house we’re in the process of buying.

The pictures are in chronological order, but I don’t remember off the top of my head what days the kayaking trips were. I could probably look back through my diary, but I’m hungry and need to eat before I leave.

May 1st, 2012

I was checking out some of the damage in Seattles May Day protests. I didn’t see anything transpire in my short time checking things out. The most abnormal thing was police guarding TV News crews.

Came out of the Arboretum into Union Bay and some sailing lessons were wrapping up. The picture doesn’t do the sails justice as they were pretty colorful and interesting. There was a little bit of a breeze coming out of the north but nothing too bad.

I have become the official self-picture taker as of late so this is us in the same spot I took the previous picture just looking the other way 😀

Just a nice picture, I think.

After the above outing it was painfully obvious that our boats needed some detailing, so I took care of that the next weekend:

May 14th, 2012

Twin sitting on the floor waiting for the Opening Act, a DJ that is also the drummer for CombiChrist. She bought the shirt to go over her dress shirt and fit in a bit more. I like the blur effect, but its purely accidental because of the low lighting and I opted not to use flash.

I went out kayaking by myself one night, and pushed myself really hard. I was anxious and a bit wound-up so I figured I’d dissipate that energy by going 20 miles in 4 Hours with a break for lunch. I took pictures to keep Twin in the loop since she didn’t feel like going.

Twins’ Graduation Day!

She gave me a Stoll of Gratitude that silk and just has the UW seal stitched on. It was pretty neat and nice to have.

I’m purely putting this one in here because on FB Twin put a caption, "You KNOW he’s thinking about kayaking."
