Ebay giving me the shits

Title says it all. I finally got my ass into gear and cleaned out the spare room a couple weeks ago and got a stack of stuff sorted for ebay. Got all the auctions up and 3 mother fuckers have been fucking me around. 1 paid for the item and all, then decided he couldnt afford it afterall and something had come up blah blah and he wanted a refund. For all I know it could have been something important, and cause Im a nice guy, I refunded him. I put it back up for 2nd chance offer, the guy didnt take it. I relist it, then the 2nd chance offer guy says he wants it now. I pull the item so I can sell to him. He is supposed to pick up Friday, calls and says can he come Sat instead. 9.30pm saturday – no word from him. I dont have his number or anything. Put off my days off so I can be around for him and the prick doesnt show up. I hate waiting for pickups, cause I feel like I cant do anything until they have come. I check my account and I have all these fees for this item alone from the original listing, the 2nd chance offer and the relisting, and the paypal fees for the refund.

Another item the person wins and sends me a message saying they dont want it and it was their 12 yeard old kid who bid on it. So I offer 2nd chance, they dont take it. I relist it, still waiting for it to finish.

Seriously, a bid on ebay is a contractuarl obligation, not something you just do and then revoke cause you fucking feel like it! If you dont want the item, dont bid. If you cant afford it, DONT BID!

Then I go and post a whole lot of the items, they cost way more than I quoted. This is really pissing me off, I end up out of pocket instead of ahead! I guess all in all I should make a few hundred bucks, but sometimesa I wonder if its worth the hassle? I mean, all the fees and shit. Last time I checked a couple days ago I was already over $100 for fees alone. End of the day I’ll have more money than before, but I’ll also have a whole lot more hassles and ebay and paypal will be getting richer!
