ß long update thattaway

Have to go home and pack for my trip to CO. No earthly idea what to pack! The forecast says:

Saturday- Morning Snow, 32°/28°

Sunday – Rain/Snow Showers 45°/32°

Monday – Mostly Sunny 53°/40°

Ok- so snow one day and a high of 53 another day? What is a girl to pack? I’m so bad at packing- I always pack way too much! Lol…

I’m excited! My friend Jeff lives there and he’s going to be my “tour guide”. Now if only I didn’t have to work part of the time! Haha

Also- was thinking today and realized that this time a YEAR ago- I was getting ready to go to Italy. We left on Oct. 10th. I can’t believe it’s been a year! Oh how the time flies! It’s scary! The older you get, the more that time seems to fly!

Convinced 5 of my girl friends to start “running” (well, actually- they told me they were “inspired” by my half marathon and want to eventually try one) so they’re going to build up to it gradually. Currently none of them run at.all. So- I’ve decided to play “coach” and help them train for a 5k in Dec. I figure if they can do a 5k in Dec and a 10k in January- then maybe they can shoot for the half in March. Baby steps. We’ll see how this goes!

It’s beautiful 🙂 I did well with layers there. A lightweight shirt with a heavyweight thing and jacket to carry around. Fun, fun! Gonna go up in the mountains/

Duh, I knew that, because it’s similar to my own. I’m gettin’ old; my memory is failing.

Good luck getting people running. Oh, and I meant to comment on my last post–I remember when met your friend’s bro and he had potential, but I didn’t know you’d been seeing him consistently the past month! This is why we need to talk more, or you need to update more, missy! 😉 Sorry you aren’t feeling it…you’re definitely not one to settle! Oh, re: book club–let me know if you need recs!
