I could write a book…

Went on a date with this guy from online on Tues night before my soccer game. I “think” it went well? (I’m so jaded now that I don’t even have a clue anymore!)- we stayed for a few hours, had a few drinks, and had good conversation. Seem to have a lot in common. He hugged me goodbye and said “had a great time- so good to meet you- talk to ya soon”. That could mean several things. So I’m not thinking about it- whatever…but no, haven’t heard from him since.

I have decided that I think I’m going to write a book about my dating experiences. Maybe it won’t be funny to anyone else, but I feel like I have so many stories that are weird that I must document them. If anything, I should make this single game fun, right? Maybe instead of finding “mr. right” (which doesn’t’ seem to be working anyway)- I will just find “entries” for my book! Lol…

Stories can range anywhere from:

Trevor: had a great date, kissed me goodnight, texted me 3 times immediately after, didn’t hear from him for a week, got a text, then nothing again.
To
Ryan: the guy who told me on the first date that he got so drunk one night that he had to pass out on the side of the road but knows that you can get a DUI if the keys are in the car, so he threw them out the window and texted himself that they were out there so that he would not panic when he woke up in the car
To
John: the guy that sent me an email the day after our first date asking me for the “pros and cons” of our date…

Etc… I have some interesting stories to tell! Maybe I should title it “the bitterness of a single girl in a big city”? hmm…

maybe you need to start a blog – an anonymous one, with pseudonyms for all these numbnuts, and you’ll become as popular as the fug girls, monetize it and become sort of famous in the cool, snarky circles! I’d RSS that. Or buy the book. Keep me posted.

I think it’s a great idea! I like your noter’s idea about an anonymous blog, too!

You should anonymously blog this stuff! You know Abbi (friend in Birmingham)? She has a dating distasters blog/website that I contributed to, and it is so funny! I need to find the URL for you–or go to her facebook page and I’m sure it’s on there. You should definitely contribute some of those stories. THe one with keys out of the car/texting himself had me LOL!

ryn: Though I love being at home, I hope you know I still love my friends just as much and love still getting out for girl’s nights. I hate that I live so far away and it’s not as easy, but I still really look forward to hanging out with ya. We need to get together and have another tennis day…maybe I won’t almost pass out from the heat and not eating this time! Anyway, love ya!
