It seems like there is almost TOO much emphasis on her being adopted. I wouldn’t tell you how to raise your child, but she’ll let you know what she needs to know. She’s going to be able to look in a mirror and see she’s different. As she said, you’re her mommy. Saying otherwise will bring her distress. She needs that home and love. When she asks questions, answer them. Be honest.

How did I miss this? And how is it possible that TWO years have passed already?! I really does seem like just yesterday you guys brought her home. Seriously. I love how when they’re first born they don’t really look like themselves yet, but that at a year they do, and every year after that just look like a bigger and bigger version of their one year old self. 🙂
