California votes this election on legalizing Marijuana.

I’m all for it.

And, no, not because I am a pot smoking hippy. Lol. I haven’t smoked pot in over 3 years. And even before that I was what they called the ‘social smoker’. I never bought it, but if it was being passed around I didn’t usually turn it down.

The reason I say legalize it is because they are right. It WILL stimulate their economy. It WILL give that struggling state a financial boost. I have been saying for years the government should legalize and tax it. (I think it should actually be the FEDERAL government)

Have you ever heard of anyone dying of Marijuana poisoning? No.

Marijuanaism? No again.

I know they say it is the ‘gateway drug’. But you know what, if cigarettes were illegal, I’m sure they would call THAT the gate way drug.

The sales of Tobacco and alcohol are controlled and taxed. Why not pot too?

Health risks? No more then cigarettes and alcohol. And I can get them at the corner store (and prob the weed too, if I hang around on the side walk long enough)

I know if it is passed, the Federalies are going to have a stroke. They insist they will uphold federal law. Get a grip. I think the federal government should be more concerned with their mounting debt, the troops over seas, the 10% unemployment rate, the fraudulent activities of the mortgage companies that they gave billions of dollars of bail out money to, (so on and so forth) then be worrying about the guy farming his crops of marijuana, paying his taxes and feeding his family.

Hell, if they do legalize it, maybe I’ll do my part, and stimulate the economy. lol.
