So I’m not new here, but I am starting fresh with a new diary.
My most recent dilemma is that my boyfriend never invites me to any coworker outings.
I understood when they had work-only parties, of course. But now it’s someone’s birthday and they’re invited to that person’s house….why wouldn’t partners come to that?
I’ve been with my boyfriend for thirteen years, we also have a daughter together.
I pretty much feel like he’s embarrassed of me? But maybe I’m being crazy.
Is this the username you used in the past? I feel like we used to note each other, but I don’t have any of your old entries to see if anything sounds familiar so maybe I’m just crazy pants haha
I’m sorry your boyfriend is making you feel that way. It’s such a vulnerable feeling, especially if he’s not the type to sit down and listen to your worries and make a plan for things to change going forward. Carrying it all yourself is exhausting and painful. I hope there’s a way you can share your fears with him.
