Theft

Corresponding nicely with my somewhat pessimistic “don’t trust people” entry from yesterday, my parents’ farm was robbed two nights ago. I suppose “robbed” might be a bit of strong term, but a trailer was stolen off of the property, presumably in the middle of the night. The local sheriff and investigators have met with my parents, but, as expected, the likelihood of catching the thieves is rather slim indeed.

It’s actually the first time that we’ve had anything stolen off the farm, which according to most people I talk to is fairly good fortune. Still, it’s a little disturbing to have things stolen off your property.

In the meantime, the two best acquaintances I’ve made at UGA so far are named Jeroz and Yanbing. If I didn’t know better, I’d think I was the one studying abroad.

LOL HAHAHA Jeroz and Yanbing. Nice. Do they have accents? There must be a huge communication barrier with your cutesy southerny Matt accent and their sexy whatever-country-anese-ish accents. Sorry about the farm. 🙁 I’m surprised Lucas and Frankie didn’t put up a fight! They’re very angsty you know.

How is robbed too strong a term for someone stealing a trailer? Those things are ‘spensive.

That really sucks. I really hope you get it back. 😀
