Secret Admirer

Kyle and I were talking about the concept of a “secret admirer” the other day, and how it’s unfortunate that neither of us have ever had one (that we know of, that is), and I suddenly got the urge to, um, become a secret admirer. And the more I think about it, the more I think it’s a rather neat idea. With the internet age it wouldn’t be difficult to do at all, as I can set up an anonymous e-mail account within a few minutes and can grab most anyone’s e-mail I want off of facebook or something similar. It certainly wouldn’t be much of a hassle, at any rate.
 
So, I’m thinking of picking out the few students in my classes that I actually respect a bit and sending out e-mails anonymously telling them that I think they’re awesome people, only in a bit more personalized way. I realize this has to be the cheesiest thing I’ve done yet, but I can’t help but be a little excited. When you get as fed up with college students as much as I occasionally do, sometimes you want to go up to those that don’t seem like complete twats and let them know, well, that someone appreciates them not being a complete twat. And, since I’m not quite brave enough to do it in person, this seems like rather a perfect way to accomplish that.
 
Oh, and, no, I’m not sending any of you an e-mail. Not that you don’t deserve them, see, it’s just that, well, I admire you all. I haven’t the time to send an admiring e-mail to every OD’er who has captured my heart, for it would be a never-ending process. Hopefully you understand.
