My mind is yet to be spotless

In the irony of all ironies, when I finally got the opportunity to head to the local Video Warehouse to check out Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I discovered that all of the copies were checked out. Which is pretty much definitive proof that life sucks.

Alas, I checked out The Ladykillers instead, which was the usual good Coen brothers fare, although it’s more along the lines of Intolerable Cruelty than Fargo. Which is to say, it’s good, but it’s not something that you’re going to hear people mimicking 10 years from now. It’s also pretty offensive if you’re the sensitive type, even for the Coen’s, so viewer beware if you’re overly offendable.

Anyway, things are pretty much going as usual on the collegiate front, as I’m currently doing plenty of exciting assignments, including a group project in which our task is to analyze the “service of Zaxby’s” and write a report on it. Like I said, exciting stuff. Presumably, this somehow proves my ability to do Amortization Reports. Either that or college is absolutely useless. You be the judge.

However, I’ll temper my complaints, since going to college helps in convincing my parents that it’s best that I stay away from the workforce while they continue to provide monetary support for me. In fact, I should really think about failing a few classes. There’s just no need in rushing these things.

I feel your pain. I went to rent Eternal Sunshine, 3 different times too, and it was out, every time. Video Warehouse is starting to betray my rental trust I think.. I ate at Zaxbys last night.. and if its any help to your project/report, the service was fast and friendly, and I even had a ton of that oh-so yummy seasoning on my fries! And for that, I saw, “Thank you, Zaxby’s of Vidalia.” haha

Apprently, this “Zaxby’s” that you speak of hasn’t made it to Texas, yet. Looks like my move to GA holds much more in store for me than I’d ever imagined. -Kristy
