Meeting

So, I’m supposed to be meeting Robin tomorrow. I’m unnecessarily nervous about the whole thing, especially when you consider I’m really not that enamored with her – the key reason for my interest is the fact that she lives here. If she were just another girl I met on OD that lived thousands of miles away, it’s doubtful I would give her a second thought. But, she is here, and she is definitely the best prospect to come out of the whole okcupid thing, which has been my mini-life venture for the past month, so I suppose I have some cause for being nervous. And, yeah, she has the whole short and Asian and gorgeous thing going on too.

Sadly, we’re supposed to meet on campus and apparently there’s a chance that classes could be cancelled tomorrow because of ice. This would certainly put a hiccup in our meeting plans (though presumably only temporarily), so I may not be writing about how terrible our meeting went because she is so far out of my league until a couple of days from now yet. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Ooooh, meet her anyway and get into a snowball fight and then bring her home with you for hot chocolate and a movie. : ) ~I’ll be

I’m excited for you! And also, glad that okcupid has had some partial success for you so far! Me, not so much. I think the pool I have to work with is too small.

Oh my god, Matty! I am so excited for you! Meeting a real, live girl who isn’t more than three hours away! HOLY CRAP! Good luck with Robin, dear. Love!

Optimism! That’s the spirit! 🙂 I wish you luck!

Lovelovelove! You’ll be fine. Don’t worry.

Ugh, people need to stop calling you Matty. I think the only reader of yours I actually super like is catch the sparks, but again, she’s my reader too. I’m excited for you, Matt. I think anyone would be nervous, even unnecessarily. I know I would be. I hope it goes well and I hope you can gain at least a good friendship and a venue to further meet people. Good luck, Nemo. 🙂

Classes cancelled because of ice? Ha. That makes me laugh now. Here, they’d tell us to suck it up and go anyway. My boyfriend is a third year here, and classes have never been cancelled due to bad weather the entire time he’s been here. And it certainly gets bad sometimes…it is Canada after all. Anyway, good luck! 🙂 TTFN and have fun, ♥ Andrea

The whole ice thing made me laugh. If there is a wet leaf on the railroad the train stops in England. Haha. It reminds me of the way an ant is when a twig gets in it’s path. “What do we do!?!” They seem to be thinking, but at least they keep on working. We should all be like ants. Good luck Matt. I hope you at least become good friends. I find those much more difficult to find. She’s luckyto be meeting you. Don’t forget that you’re fabulous. I probably should stop now before you get too egotistical and cocky for your meeting.
