Further experimental analysis and a dedication

Well, Open Diary activity seems to be alarmingly low since the hacker attacks, presumably because everyone’s still upset that their life stories are now missing about 3 months. To be honest I’m disappointed. I always thought attacks like these were what caused society to rise together and overcome adversity. At least that’s what they told me on TV.

Anyway, despite everyone else’s boycotts, I’m still writing here, although admittedly more sparingly than I’d like. Of course, per the norm, there’s not anything too excitingly interesting happening in my day-to-day life. That’s not to say my life is boring, because, really, I’d hurt my own feelings if I said my life was boring, it’s just to say that what I’m doing at the moment doesn’t translate well into diary entries. Like watching football games. I mean, I could do long entries analyzing football games, but, I have a feeling my readership would evaporate quicker than it already is. Anyone really curious on my thoughts should let me know though.

Oh, as a follow-up to the previous entry, as suspected, the yahoo messengers have subsided a bit, and I’m now on pace for about 100 RFIM’s per year instead of 300. Of course, the fact that having a balloon on my ear caused the number of people randomly messaging me to quadruple still strikes me as a bit odd, but, well, sometimes you just have to realize that people are weird and shake your head. Obviously, further experimentation will continue and all updates will be found inside this diary.

As a final note, any of you who choose to instant message me randomly, please, go ahead and do so, I’d be thrilled to hear from you. See, I consider there to be a very large difference between OD random messengers and yahoo profile random messengers, most notably that people on OD can inherently READ and are, thus, actually literate. Which is more than I can say for the vast majority of the yahoo messengers. In fact, I’ve been tempted to post some of the transcripts of my chats with them on here so I could share the hilarity with you, but the whole privacy concept has kept me from it. Really, I have morals too you know.

Anyway, I’ll try and keep updating here despite my maddening schedule of occasional classes and televised football games. Yes, that aroma in the air is the sweet smell of dedication. I’m here for you diary readers. I’m always here for you.

I’m so glad. I don’t know -what- I’d do without you, Matt. 😉
