Clubs (really this time)
Clubs
First, a small correction: The last entry should have been titled Spades, not Clubs. And that no one noticed it was incorrectly titled confirms that no one is actually reading these entries. Thankfully.
Anyway, to finish this up:
CLUBS (war and conflict)
2: Are you upset about something? Well, yes, I suppose I am.
3: Why does it upset you? Hmm, probably because I linger on past events instead of moving on and getting over myself.
4: Are you not talking to someone? Um, well, I’m not talking to anyone at the moment, no. But I’m on speaking terms with everyone that I know, yes, which I assume is what this question means.
5: Is someone not talking to you? If they’re not, then they haven’t told me about it.
6: Were you personally affected by September 11th? No, not really. It was a tragic event, obviously, but I learned a long time ago that tragedies are happening constantly, everywhere, and you can’t let yourself be personally affected by them because if you do, well, you’re not going to have much of a life. And I wasn’t any more affected by it because it was in “my” country instead of countries where it happens constantly, no.
7: Has it changed your personal habits? No, it hasn’t.
8: If you were drafted, would you object? I believe in a voluntary armed forces, so, yeah, I would and I do object to the general principle of drafting unwilling people to fight battles that they don’t necessarily agree with.
9: Can you see yourself dying for your country? Should the occasion arise that I actually objectively think that the United States is necessarily and honorably pursuing a war for good reason then I suppose I might consider it. That occasion hasn’t arisen yet.
10: Can you see yourself dying for anything else? I can’t hypothetically imagine a scenario in which it’d be necessary for me to “die” for something, so, no, I can’t.
J: What is the worst news you ever received? That’s actually tough – I’ve never really had a family member or friend die suddenly or something similar to that occur. I’ve lost all of my grandparents who I was relatively close to, but none of their deaths were particularly sudden and receiving the news was relatively easy and expected. So, having said all that, I suppose I’ll stoop down and say that it was when Heather told me she was breaking up with me . . .
Q: When was the last time you cried? Well, I don’t exactly remember the date, but not all that long ago, actually.
K: When was the last time you hit someone? Probably 8th grade when I got into a fight with Tremaine, though I’m not even really certain if I hit him properly. However, I am certain that he hit me properly.
A: Have you ever genuinely wanted to kill someone? No, I have wanted to physically harm people, but I’ve never wanted to kill anyone.
And with that I finish the illustrious deck of cards survey. To what I’m sure is all of you lovelies’ delight, I promise no more surveys for the rest of the month. No thanks necessary.
Oh, do these survey’s throw off the annual survey?
Warning Comment
To answer dearest Brittainy’s question, yes, the Annual Diary Survey will still take place as scheduled in March. Just consider these a bonus.

I totally noticed.
Warning Comment
I didn’t notice, but I am reading.
Warning Comment
I noticed about your last entry. So at least one person is still reading this.

re: OMG. Jeanette Winterson is seriously amazing. Is that quote from a book of hers, or just a quote of hers in general? I am loooving everyone’s contributions. So many good things out there that I’ve never even come across, wow wow wow! Also, I totally didn’t notice the Clubs thing at all. I’m pretty slow like that. 😐
Warning Comment
I didn’t notice. I’m not a big fan of this najourmo or whatever its called. And surveys… lame, man. 😛 I hope you’re feeling better.
Warning Comment
But I love surveys!!! oh well I guess I’ll survive if you don’t do another one. (Sighs and walks to her window opening it up and contemplating if she should jump out at this sad prospect)

So’s mine. And I got an OD favourite called _natalie_ and all. Kind of wish no one had followed my grumpy lead in refusing screennames. If I ever get a John. trying to note me I’m calling it a day.
Warning Comment
i always think your surveys are neat. and also, i usually don’t read the titles.
