Calesha
So I mentioned offhandedly that I might be meeting a girl from okcupid soon, but it’s probably worth a bit of elaboration, especially considering my general lack of social life. First things first, the girl’s name is Calesha and, as you might have guessed from that, she’s African American. She’s a twenty year old college student and she also has a scarily huge crush on me considering we’ve only been talking about a week.
I’m not going to lie, she is adorable. I have never in my life felt like the more experienced party in any romantic interaction, but I definitely am now. She’s never made out with anyone, never been on a real date, has always lived with her parents. Obviously she’s a virgin. And overall, she’s just so incredibly sheltered – she’s terrified to drive and meet me in my little rural town because she thinks there’s too much traffic! She lives in a neighboring city to me that is even smaller. Like I said, it’s just adorable.
Admittedly, it’s also a little worrisome – I’m already afraid I’m going to break her heart and that I’m leading her on, because she is so interested in me, but I am interested in her too and the reason people date is to find out if they want to pursue relationships. So I have to be ok with that. But she is constantly talking about how much she likes me and how amazing I am – which isn’t much to complain about, I know! It’s just a little much, this quickly.
It’s also really empowering to see how happy I can make her just by giving her a compliment or telling her that I want to take her on a date. She asked if I liked her and I told her that I did and she told me how happy she was. I think I’ve died and gone to 6th grade.
I’ll end with a snippet of one of our conversations:
Calesha: (Something about how I could be a girl, I don’t remember)
Me: No, I’m quite satisfied staying a male. I’ve heard it’s much easier for us to orgasm.
Calesha: I don’t know, I know nothing about the male orgasm.
Me: Oh, you’ll probably learn about it in one of your psych classes.
Calesha: Maybe. Or maybe I can learn about it outside the classroom. 😉
Virgins are too cute.
Awe. I hope you guys really hit it off. And that little joke at the end was adorible. 🙂

Sometimes, I honestly find it a bit hard to believe your entries like this. Is that the parameters you tap into your dating programmes: “virgin, terrified, sheltered”? What if you meet her and she’s actually 13?

I’m sort of voyeuristically fascinated in you meeting her now though.

She does sound thirteen. Then again, I have a twenty one year old friend who wouldn’t be able to drive to meet you unless her parents took her. Since she has no car or license. So, what can ya do? ~I’ll be

I’m looking forward to hearing about this initial meeting. I hope you like her as much as she likes you!!

I’m a 20 year old virgin non-driving friend, too. Only I know a lot orgasms because I’m super into porn. HAHAHAHAHA. Call me when you get a chance, Mattpie.

I have no car or license! In fact I am having difficulty with the concept of someone OWNING A CAR before they’ve had sex. Are cars really cheap in America? I’ve only met a couple of people younger than 25 who own them around here. ryn: aye, especially if you get arrested, heh.

“I think I’ve died and gone to 6th grade.” I am still laughing from that line. And yes, virgins ARE too cute haha

She does not sound like a 13 year old to me…sometimes people just don’t know! Infact I’ve been with a few guys my age and older who THINK they know what they are doing to a female..but they are sadly mistaken. (Ezer Kenegdo)

The entire entry cracked me up. I’m reading it at work and the first paragraph made me snort out loud. And just when I think it can’t get any better, you say this: “I think IÂ’ve died and gone to 6th grade.” Grand. I agree, she sounds pretty young. But I was terribly sheltered until I got to college, so I relate somewhat to her. Obviously meet her.
