A lot of pictures

It all started the first week after moving into the new apartment. Spider and I had stepped into a new world and instantly found ourselves in an unusual position. There was no television. There was no internet. So, immediately, we both had to search for a different sort of entertainment vehicle. And, as one might suspect, this search almost immediately led us to trouble. And I mean trouble with a capital t.

trouble with a capital t.

Now, there’s only one problem that’s arisen. We can’t stop playing. Yes, those popular entertainment mediums of television and cyberspace have long since returned, but it certainly hasn’t prevented us from continuing our rousing series of Trouble matches. Not so long ago, I finally officially claimed the Trouble championship.

sweet victory

Still, I had won the board games battle, but certainly not the war. There were still many other games to be played. Recently, the Sorry Championship Series (SCS) began. I found myself standing on the brink of a 2-0 lead, my final peg in position for the move into home. Then, suddenly, victory was snatched away from me, as I received a "Move back 4 card" just before Spider simultaneously placed his last peg in home and a dagger in my heart.

a dagger in the heart

I appreciate all of your support as this battle continues.

Matt, love, IÂ’ve just finished playing an enticing game of Speed. Have you played it? I won; however, lost in Go Fish. Really, IÂ’ll always be horrid at that game. P.S. Really, that picture does make me chuckle. I must agree with the noter above. Quite a cutie. (really cutie seems such a silly word, perhaps I should simply say handsome)

“If you’ve got trouble wait don’t run. This kind of trouble is a lot of fun! Pop the matic, roll the dice …” I bet you don’t remember that commercial. LOL!

oh dear, my mouse got out of control and hit the “readers choice” link. So now Matt, you are listed in readers choice. Honestly, I had no intention of doing so. Really, seems such a silly entry to post on Reader’s Choice . My, how silly. Yes, well perhaps it’ll attract some new fans.

If I could tell you the number of Trouble games I’ve played with the kids. … You are right, it’s almost impossible to stop.
