A Changing of the Guard

Tragically, whenever OpenDiary restored my diary, apparently they did not restore the part that allows users to leave notes. This, of course, just won’t do, because as egotistical as I seem, I actually have low self-esteem like everyone else and, thus, need constant reassurance that someone is actually reading what I am writing. So, well, something has to be done.

In fact, the only reason I’ve let the diary go on this long in its current state is because I had no idea that the notes section of my diary wasn’t working properly. It’s quite tragic because, since you couldn’t leave notes, no one could leave me a note telling me that the note section wasn’t working properly. The world is an ironic place, no?

Nevertheless, I am now aware of the tragic situation we find ourselves in, and I’ve taken measures to remedy things. I’ve started another diary, under the all new and wholly original name of A.J. Stanson. I’d appreciate it if everyone who was or wants to be on my favorites list leaves me a note or adds me themselves, in order to make the diary transition easier on me. Basically, if I don’t immediately add you to my favorites list, don’t let your feelings get hurt. These things take time.

Also, I haven’t actually written much of anything in the other diary, but, take notice, it WILL become my new diary from now on and I doubt that this diary will ever see another update. The only quandary I come across is that I hate for all of the writing I’ve done here to just be swallowed up by the internet, so I’m a bit torn on what I’m going to do about that predicament. Anyone with any ideas, leave a note. On the other diary, for obvious reasons.

Well, I guess this is goodbye. It’s really been great talking with you guys, but I’m afraid it’s now time to set ajstanson into the ground. Long live A.J. Stanson!

Note: If you’re reading this on the A.J. Stanson diary, then, obviously, there is no new diary to go to. This was originally written on my old diary, and was enhanced and digitally re-mastered into the new diary in early September of 2004.
