Oh GREAT!
Today’s weight: 127.7 lbs
Yes, you read that right. I’m nearing my highest weight I’ve had since the car accident. The very first highest weight I had was 140 lbs right after the car accident in 2010. I reached that after 4 months of being laid up, in a wheelchair, onto a walker and then crutches. The surgery I had in September 2012 made me gain to 131 lbs, and now this surgery is looking like I’m gaining that same weight back! When I had this past surgery I was around 123 or so. I’m partially to blame as I eat a lot during the day and most of it is crap foods. I’ve pinned a lot of workouts to do at home on my Pinterest page, but haven’t done them yet. Getting off my butt and working out and eating right should help me lose some weight once I am off the crutches, but I’m depressed I’m gaining weight so I eat to soothe myself. It’s got to stop.
I’ve been off the pain pills since Sunday of last week. My foot still swells up quite a bit at night, including the leg, that will swell up too. But the pain is basically a day to day, hour to hour thing. I haven’t been in PAIN, I’ve been feeling a but uncomfortable in the ankle, but nothing painful, you know?
I have the post-op appointment with the orthopedic doctor on Wednesday of this week and we will be seeing how well the ankle is healing and then removing the stitches as well. I’ll see what the outlook will be for me going back to work and what my limitations will be. I shot an email to my boss and told her about the upcoming doctor visit and she replied back with a thank you for keeping her updated.
Don’t really have much on my mind other then the weight thing. I’ll start printing out my workouts I found on Pinterest and start doing those as well as watching what I eat.
