Dog bites and other Misc. + pic

Well my foot isn’t too swollen anymore. That one picture I took of it was by far the worst it’s EVER been. Since then it seems to be getting better in the swelling department.

I take Tramadol and Norco at night along with a prescription anti-inflammatory. Seems to help the pain and swelling at night in that my foot looks like a foot in the AM and not a goose egg.

I start back at the daycare job next week. I only will be working part-time 8 AM until 1 PM. I work with 17 – 3 year olds and my co-teacher will be there to help out too. I’m looking forward to it and dreading it due to the pain and swelling involved.

Tonight my Miniature Pincher, Lady, got bit by some kind of snake. I took a picture of it. She went outside to go potty one last time and I didn’t see the snake. I heard a yelp and went to see what the commotion was. She apparently tried to eat it, or play with it and got bit in the mouth. I started freaking out and called emergency vets in the area. They think it’s a Corn Snake which isn’t poisonous. And the dog acted like nothing happened. I got the okay to give her Benadryl to help ease any swelling or itching that could occur. She wasn’t like pouring blood out, but it was drops here and there.

We had absolutely no Trick or Treaters tonight. Glad because we didn’t get any candy.

I weighed myself tonight. I lost almost 2 whole pounds. That’s good because I’m eating around 1,200 calories a day and upping my water intake. I’m exercising a bit, what I can, too. I’m quite thrilled with this. I hope to get back down to 105 lbs. I’m only 4 foot 11 inches. But right now I’m definitely in the overweight category when I was 131.0 lbs.

My Mom offered to pick me up from work when I need for her too starting next week. We’ll see how long this lasts for. I’m not holding my breath. I havent’ gotten the okay yet to drive. But when I do, we’ll be selling my current car, 2002 Buick LeSabre from my Grandfather and receiving my parent’s 2007 (?) Buick LeSabre. Theirs is a bit more advanced in technology then my current car. Yep, they are both Buick LeSabres. I like them. I was a bit emotional over losing my Grandfather’s car because that was the last thing he gave me when he was alive and when I drive it I think of him and all that he has done for me. I would keep it, but it has a bit over 80,000 miles on it and it’s starting to need a bit more work on it. My parents car has like 30,000 miles on it and is in good shape. The main difference in cars is the color. Grandpa’s car is light blue, my parent’s car is maroon. It also has a political bumper sticker on it which I will be removing as soon as I get it.
