The Seaside – Photos and hidden mermaid

I’ve started the long journey home.

At this moment I’m contained in my tiny red road-shoe with wheels. It’s foggy and cold outside, and I’ve found a rest stop with wi-fi. I’m a terribly lucky girl.

Most of my day was spent driving by the seaside, and frantically stopping when I caught sight of a moment that I couldn’t live without capturing. There’s some breathtaking scenery on the 101, and I’m determined to do my best to do it justice.

The fog has cozied up to the sea and is saturating everything in its path. The full moon is out, and I’ve been spending some long moments watching her and her twin reflection on the waves.

Just a few shots. It’s close to 3 A.M, and I’m exploring the redwoods tomorrow. Time to find a comfy position in the road-shoe, and catch sleep while I can.

I love rest stops.. no fee.. no check out times.. no phones that ring or maids that interrupt your sleep. No smell of stale humanity or the leavings of business men.

Just the basic facilities and whatever comfort you bring with you. Life analogy in a nutshell.

A few shots from today..
