Still Alive!
Honestly!
Erm. It’s just that Facebook really has kind of sucked me in. I’ve even neglected my dear old LiveJournal. I’m still traveling the country..selling my chainmail armor and jewelry. I’m still avid about photography…I’ve just started doing prints of some of my work. Hrmmm. Still in an incredibly complex and confusing relationship status ( isn’t it nice to see how somethings never change?)
The shop is doing fairly well. I am in all likelihood adding new shows to the schedule next year. Which will probably lead to insanity. Adventure! Excitement!
Here’s a couple of shots that I had fun with.. a few of some new things in the shop..and a couple that were taken as Kamikaze photography ( AKA.. out the window of my car going somewhere along the lines of 70 to 80 miles an hour.. because there are some shots that I just Refuse To Miss)
So Hello World… How are you?
Hey look! I figured out watermarks! ( yeah…I know. *sigh*…I am so behind the times.. BTW..I’m listed on LiveJournal as Meccahi)
I’ve been calling this piece "A Face Full of Stars".. I love it. I have no idea why it took me so long to get into my brain that a star mask would be freaking sweet.
I called this one "Flight of Fancy".. It sold the last day of the last show of this season ..The Carolina Renaissance Festival.
And one more. A friend of mine is a professional falconer..and he let me play with his European Barn Owl. Her name is Widget..and she is an absolute doll. Sweet…gentle..and loves skritches. I love my job.
If any are curious.. you are more than welcome to come see more chainmail goodness on my facebook (World In Chains Chainmail).. or the website ( which is so old and ghetto that this winter it’s getting a firm scrubbing and revamping… http://www.worldinchains.com)
Back to work.
Hi! Saw you on the front page! Love the pics. They are really an intriguing assortment. The second pic down is beautiful and I like your “Face Full of Stars” too. 🙂

RYN: I did. 🙂 We lived on Sulphur Ave. I loved it there actually. It was so quiet and peaceful while still close to a city.
