I don’t listen to the radio because they overplay the same set of 5-10 songs on a loop. I have to listen to it when driving around with my wife though, she loves the radio. We’ve especially noticed the overplaying of the Katy Perry song ‘Roar’. I think in the last two weeks or so everytime we’re in the car to go somewhere, it plays. Even if we stop at a store for 15 min and get back in the car to go somewhere else, it’s back on

Anybody else annoyed that Katy Perry never roars in that song? I went to UH, back then every time there was a first down at football game’s they’d play a cougar roaring as celebration. So I know roars, and she never does it even though the words in the song clearly states she will! Such a tease…

My wife made me watch the Lady Gaga ‘Applause’ music video. The hamsters in the car commercial made a better video for that song! She’s so weird…

‘Wrecking Ball’ is a more fitting ballad for Miley Cyrus’ voice than any twerking nonsense. I wonder how much money they paid her ex-fiancee to keep quiet about their break-up until this song was released?

Britney’s new song sucks, but that’s the norm for her. Except this one is excruciatingly long. I tell my wife, "At least Katy Perry’s song finishes quickly" 😛

moral of the story: Pop stars all came out with new stuff when this new school year started. No coincidence, it’s such a money-fueled industry
