the wedding, douche bags, and mr. wonderful
The wedding was this weekend. Hello broken bank account! It wasn’t as bad as I expected. I really enjoyed hanging out with the other bridesmaids. Thank goodness they aren’t MY best friends but I didn’t end up hating it.
Thank God Doug was there because other wise I would have been chased by 3 groomsmen who obviously wanted to get laid by a flying bridesmaid. There was only 1 single bridesmaid and man did they try and tag team her. They were the BIGGEST douches I’ve ever met in my life….maybe outside those baseball players last summer. The grooms brother was good looking until he opened his mouth and then lost all appeal.
I’m pretty sure the groomsmen were scared of Doug because they hardly talked to me even when Doug wasn’t there haha.
The wedding itself made me want to get married….at a better venue….with assigned seating. I know that weddings are supposed to make girls want to get married but they never do…infraction the wedding process freaks me out. I have no desire to sit here and plan it for the next year. But I’m so ready to be engaged to Doug. I can’t wait. I recently started dreaming of the proposal. I’m just so deeply and incredibly in love with him. I never thought I could actually be this in love with someone. I’ve definitely never felt this way before…I know it wont happen in the next couple months….I’m hoping sometime between Jan and March time….I’m hoping. Trying not to put a timeline on it but I can’t help it. I am just so excited about the future.
Tomorrow I’m going to prince charmings house and he will meet my Grandparents on Wednesday ….excited about that, he will most definitely charm them like he did my dad. He’s just so wonderful…
This weekend he sent over a bottle of champagne $100 ….and he doesn’t even like Shelly….he’s the sweetest.
Anyways…enough of me blabbing on and on about Doug.
I’m out. Can’t wait til I get internet in my new apt. Lots of pictures from the wedding and of the new apt to come.
The last thing going to a wedding does is make me want to get married. All I see is $$$$.

Weddings are so expensive. I have heard of someone spending $90,000 on a wedding. I couldn’t believe it, but after watching a few episodes of My Fair Wedding I see how that could happen.
