Operation size 6
Okay…so operation size 6 is in full effect!
I was pretty strict on my diet yesterday. Today will hopefully be even better since I PROBABLY wont be flying. I ended up flying 4 legs yesterday. They were short but I wasnt prepared and I was starving. At about the 3rd leg I busted open one of the kids snack packs which I think is the more healthy one on board. Its got apple sauce, organic chips, and stuff like that…the organic chips were actually only 130 cals…which when you are starving is all that matters.
My goal is to drop the first 20 pounds while I am in Orlando….and then lose the last few slowly. Lucky for me I hold my weight pretty well…but I KNOW I am not my healthiest…so I am working on it. I know if I loose the first bit quickly then I will be more likely to continue to loose in April.
Tea is a big help for me…so if anyone is looking for a tip. I used to be starving on EVERY flight. So I would seriously eat a meal on every flight….like a lean cuisine or something….that adds up really quick. So I started drinking english tea in the morning, green tea in the afternoon, and a decaf tea in the evening….and if I feel hungry I can drink a decaf and it curves my hunger SO much. For whatever reason water just doesnt do the same for me….so try a tea with splenda or something and see how it works for you.
I slept from like 8pm to 7am this morning…it was wonderful. THIS is what the reserve life is all about. lol. I bet I will get called for tomorrow though. It seems that we have been getting called a lot like that. I’m off Sunday and Monday and I am not sure how I should spend that time with Doug…He’s got School in Tampa Sat and sunday he has Army in Orlando…but I dont think he will be able to stay long sunday since he has his doggy locked up all day. We/ve gotta figure something out because before we know it his daughter will be here and i am pretty sure we decided that this time I wouldnt be meeting her…as we’ve only known each other 2 months.
I think today after I give scooter a bath I will ride on over to my grandparents house…(with a uniform in my car just incase) and spend some time with them and then after go to the gym and see what I can do. I havent worked out yet….which I know will be a big help in the weight loss but I am just SO exhausted after work! I work on my feet and my back always hurts and stuff….so the last thing I want to do when I get home is work out…..and dont say before work because I would if I didnt have to be at work at 6am…and it takes about 45 mins to park, take the employee shuttle, go through security, and find my gate….so I’d have to wake up at about 330am to work out…and my gym isnt even open at that time. So…anyways.
Excited to hopefully have today off.

i totally agree on the tea curbing hunger thing!! my friends used to always tell me to drink more water, but water just didn’t do it for me. tea is way better. goodluck on the diet.

Goodluck on your weight loss. I hope you are eating aside from just the tea. I am sure you are but just wanted to make sure. I am trying to knock off about 10 Ibs which has been frusterating because I wasn’t anticipating gaining muscle which weighs more then fat so I am in better shape then I was a month ago but I only weigh 2 Ibs less.
