Order up!

So, Its my first week back as a waitress. Its not too bad. A lot of the other waitresses are glad they hired someone w/some experience already.  It is quite different from my old restaurant, but somewhat the same. I had instant flashbacks to my college waitressing days.  This is such a small town restaurant though. Really, besides pizza joints and fast food, its about the only restaurant in town.  There are regulars and lots of them.  If I had a dollar every time I heard "who’s the new girl?" I’d be a rich girl.  It will be interesting to see how it goes.

Its funny living in a small town, how everybody can find some sort of connection to you. I got told how i look like my mom. I got told how i looked like my dad. I got told stories of my grandfather…who passed when i was just 8 but whom I dearly loved. That part is kind of cool.

On a more fun note!!!! Some friends and I are hittin’ the streets of NYC tomorrow. Expect debauchery and mayhem. We’re attending the Mp3 Experiment.  Here’s a video of one of the old ones. Its hard to explain what exactly. And its much funnier to watch. Enjoy your weekend. The weather is loverly!
