A 2-night city vacation

While most people were going to the province to visit their dead loved ones, hubby and I went to the city to have a little R&R.

We left baby Marc with the babysitters and hubby’s aunt and cousins and off we went to our reserved RCI suite in the city.

Went to watch Wreck-It Ralph (super loved it!) and Skyfall (awww… sad ending…but still okay). The next day we went to a salon and I had my hair treated and we had our feet pampered and massaged. In the evening, we had early dinner, went to a Shabu-shabu restaurant. The waitress even cooked our meal for us. So she was there in front of us while we were eating. She was also kind to describe the food she was serving us.

We had chicken set, with egg and some vermicelli and vegetables, then for the soup base, we tried the Zuiji (with chinese herbs).

Here are some pictures we took. We forgot to bring the camera with us so these were all taken using my htc phone. 🙁

I liked their salt and pepper shakers. So cute!

We also got a little creative (not!) with these 2 pictures.

Here’s our table. The view below is the small road leading to the hotel where we stayed in.

We have another reservation to the RCI suite in December, just before baby Marc turns 1 year old, so we’ll bring him along with us. The front desk officer assured us that they can provide cribs for guests bringing in infants to the hotel. Cool…
