St. Augustine Day Trip
<— Real entry and more photos that-a-way!
So, during our trip to Florida for the holidays, Chris and I took one full day for ourselves, and drove down to St. Augustine to do some sightseeing and shopping. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera, so I had to take all these with my phone. Enjoy!
Zero Milestone marking the beginning of the Old Spanish Trail from St. Augustine, FL, to San Diego, CA.
Just an interesting fountain behind the visitor’s center.
I heart cemeteries.
Yep, this old drugstore was pretty authentic. It was full of snake oil and jars of herbs.
Castillo de San Marcos.
Heading into downtown after touring the fort.
St. Photios Greek Orthodox Shrine.
We always pay our respects whether we believe or not.
The reliquary inside the shrine.
Of course we went to the Pirate Museum. Duh.
More to come tonight when I get home.
Cheers,

Love St Augustine. My husband and I were married there. Nice pix, reminds me when I was there last.

I moved to NC from Jacksonville, FL and used to go to St. Augustine all the time. We never got to visit inside the fort, though. Looks like you had fun!
