Pre-Christmas Get Togethers
<— Real entry that-a-way!
December was full of pre-holiday get-togethers — dinners with friends, a company holiday party, and a Christmas-themed burlesque show. I didn’t take pictures at all of them, but here’s the shots that I did capture. Enjoy!
Me and Chris at Marrakesh, an interesting and authentic Moroccan restaurant hidden in DC. Reservations and cash only, you have to knock on the door to get in. You sit on pillows around a low wooden tables, and wash yours hand with a pitcher of water. There is no menu, but you are treated to seven courses of which you have only your hand as utensils. All while a belly dancer entertains you.

Went to a sound check party for As I Lay Dying at the 9:30 Club, and got to spend some time with the band.

The concert. Can you find me in the pit? I got my ass kicked in that pit that night. Came home covered in bruises with a nearly broken foot. It was awesome.

Finito!

After the Christmas party, Chris and I hit up the Red Palace for a burlesque show. Meet Miss Legs Malone.
I seriously think we should make this a yearly tradition.
Anita Cookie. She’s my favorite. And yes. She’s dressed as a dreidel. And she danced to, "You spin me right round, baby, right round…" Ha.
More to come!
Cheers,
