Las Vegas, Baby! (PICS)
I mentioned in my last real entry that I was in Las Vegas a few weekends ago. My brother and I planned the trip just after returning from WrestleMania. He ventures that way several times a year, but this was my first trip. It was a blast! There’s not much that’s too particulary noteworthy…
…except that thanks to our amazing connections, we got into The Bank, the most exclusive club in Las Vegas! Not only did we get in (which is nearly impossible without a wad of fat cash in your pocket), we met the owner, had the best table in the club reserved for us (as well as a reservation and free drinks beforehand at his other club, Caramel), and had an entire staff dedicated to us for the night. Ladies, I had my own personal security guard to take me to the bathroom. He actually wore one of those white, Secret Service-ish ear pieces, and as he escorted me arm-in-arm from my seat, he’d mumble into the mic, "Watch my guard. I’m taking my lady to the restroom." It was a trip. And I have to admit, I loved the crowd of onlookers wondering who we were and why we were so special that we got to party with the celebs.
Anyway, I honestly didn’t take a ton of pictures on the trip. I was too wasted the majority of the weekend to even think about my camera. But, here’s what I’ve got…
Rob and me at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. We actually stayed at the Flamingo, but we had dinner at Hard Rock one night at Nobu. If you ever go there, I absolutely must suggest the lobster tacos. They were fantastic!
Bally’s and Paris from the strip.
You can see the sign for Mon Ami Gabi, a fantastic French bistro that we dined in our first night there. It’s a must for all you foodies.
Daytime…
… nighttime!
And of course, we rode that rollercoaster!
Taken from Mix, a swanky lounge on the 43rd floor of THEhotel at Mandalay Bay.
Rob and me at Caramel.
Our reserved table and my empty martini glass at Caramel. And yes, that is my sweet man-love lighter on the table. I never have to worry about anyone stealing it.
Yes, I’d say we had the best seat in the house at The Bank. Oh, and that’s Ernesto, by the way, one of Rob’s old Kung Fu buddies from Key West.
Me and Rob at The Bank.
We never did really figure out what was falling from the ceiling. It wasn’t confetti. It was more like… ice crystals.
Our awesome table service, complete with a magnum bottle of Belvedere Vodka. We paid $1100 for that bottle and couldn’t even finish it.
Cheers!
I think I was itching to go dance.
And this is why we didn’t finish the entire bottle. Trashed!
Hope you enjoyed!
Cheers!
