I’ve Been A Bad, Bad Girl
My hiatus away from OD has been quite eventful. I must be perfectly honest with you. I had almost considered dropping my beloved OD for that damn addictive MySpace site (which is where I seem to have been spending much of my online time — and with good reason), but then I remembered how easily people that I wouldn’t want to read my blog could find me there. No, I could never disclose my most sordid details on MySpace. Too much risk. If someone were to find me here, they would have to be looking very hard. And if someone wanted to know about me that desperately, they deserve to know.
So, what has happened in the last couple of weeks? Well, I’ve been on date after date after date. Three guys in all, one that I could truly see myself falling for. Yep, you heard me right. All I wanted over the last few months was to be single, and lo-and-behold, my feelings for someone crept up and sucker-punched me. Figures. But none the less, the pre-David, sex crazed Rachel that you’ve only heard mention of is back in full force. No, I’ve never been one to spare or shy away from the TMI, and I certainly will not now!
A few weeks ago, I was in a pool hall with Lisa, one of my coworkers. Just before leaving, a girl approached me. She pointed to a guy playing darts and said that he had been talking about me all night. She mentioned that he was not the type to come over and just ask a girl for her number, so she decided, unbeknownst to him, to do it for him. I had downed one to many drinks, and even though I couldn’t get a really good look at him, I readily handed over the digits. He called a couple of days later, and we ended up having a great, hour-long conversation. We made plans for the following Tuesday.
I met him at a restaurant downtown that Tuesday night. I was worried that the alcohol had impaired my judgment as I could not recall a single detail of his appearance. I was pleasantly surprised! We sat at the bar and had another long, wonderful conversation. We finally ordered dinner, went back to his place, and talked for hours. We rented a movie, talked more, and he took me back to my car around 2:30am. He didn’t even try to kiss me even though I gave him my best lean-in and smooch moves. Terrible to say, but that’s a strike in my book. I’m a bad, bad girl, and I need a comparable guy. None-the-less, we booked a second date.
The next day at work, I received a message from a musician that lives in Chattanooga. All it said was, "It’s not very far to East Brainerd!" Before I knew it, we were sending suggestive emails back and forth. Finally, he sent me a note that simply said, "Come see me tonight." I was caught off-guard. But I did ponder the thought. Apparently, I pondered a little too long, because I soon had another message from him apologizing if he offended me. He explained that he can sometimes be a little forward, but I quickly responded that I could as well. I told him that he had piqued my interest but that I already had plans. Before I could control my fingers, I typed out, "How about tomorrow after work?" Without giving it another thought, I hit ‘send’. Wow.
You do have to give me some credit here. I had not had sex since August 5th. Yes, I remember the exact day. That was the day before David left for Pennsylvania. And, no, I have not forgotten about Heather, but that doesn’t count. I hadn’t had a big, hard cock in me in almost six months. On the way to his house Thursday afternoon, I nervously chatted with Tammy about the upcoming events. I mean, I could’ve done this without a second thought back in the day, but could I still pull it off? As soon as I walked in the door, it all came rushing back to me.
I easily settled into his couch. He brought out a couple of beers for us, and we spent a good hour talking and getting to know one another. Eventually, he asked me what I thought of him. In other words, we both knew there was a possibility that each others pictures might be misleading. We both confirmed that we were very pleased, and he leaned in and kissed me. He told me that he had wanted to do that since I had walked in his front door. Over the course of the next minute, clothes were strewn everywhere. It.was.so.worth.it.
Afterwards, we just laid together, talked some more, and watched TV. Then we did it again. Then we smoked some pot, ate dinner, and did it again. At one point while relaxing butt ass naked, he looked up at me and said, "This is strange. I feel like I’ve known you forever. I’m unusually comfortable with you." I headed home around midnight completely satisfied with the days events.
The next night (Friday), I had a date with someone I had met a couple of weeks earlier. While eating out with Tammy one night, he and his friends had found a place right next to our table. We briefly chatted and went our separate ways. A couple of days later, he found me on MySpace, and we made plans together. After work on Friday, I went home and showered. We met near his house, parked my car, and drove back into Chattanooga. We had a couple of drinks, spent hours talking over the peaceful drone of a folk singer, and spent the remainder of the night at a local venue listening to an awesome 80’s cover band. Perfect date for me.
As he drove me back to my car, it began to rain. We sat in the parking lot and talked waiting for it to let up. Just as I was about to open the door, he grabbed my face, pulled me in close, and gave me the most amazing, heart-stopping, butterflies-in-stomach kiss that I have experienced in as long as I can remember. Holy shit. It was so good that I dropped all of my belongings and stayed there for over an hour just kissing him. Wow.
The next night, I had plans to go out with date number one again. He and a bunch of his friends were going up to CBCs to drink some beer and throw darts. After Friday night’s events, he was the last thing on my mind. I had to talk myself into getting into the shower and getting dressed, and I was actually about 15 minutes late meeting them. However, as I was driving to Chattanooga, the night made a turn for the better. About half way through my drive, my phone rang. It was him. The one who made my heart stop the night before. He told me that if I got bored with the plans I had already made, call him. He and his friends would be in Dalton, and he wanted me to be there. There’s that feeling again…
I was out of the first date by 11pm. I lied. I told date number one that I was tired because I hadn’t been sleeping well. Bad me. I made a beeline back to Dalton and headed straight to the Depot. I saw him as soon as I stepped through the door. I walked up behind him and ran my finger across the back of his neck. He turned around and gave me a big bear hug. We walked outside so he could make a phone call and found ourselves in the back seat of his friend’s t
ruck. It was one of those "I can’t keep my hands off of you" moments. Several times, he stopped, cupped his hands around my face, and said, "Rachel, you are so beautiful." And a couple of times, he asked, "You’re going to break my heart, aren’t you?" He makes me melt.
After the party died at the Depot, we ended up at his best friend’s house. Everyone crashed, so she offered up her extra bedroom to us. We didn’t turn it down. The entire night was unbelievably passionate — almost tantric. We didn’t have sex, but it was so hot, it was almost better. We seduced each other with our tongues and with our fingers. We pulled hair and sucked and bit, all the while supressing our desires for what we really wanted. I had to wear a turtleneck to work on Monday, and I still have bruises on my chest. I was thrilled with every last minute of it. We slept not a wink.
The following Monday, I called date number one and told him that I couldn’t see him again. He could never compare to what I had just experienced. Quite honestly, I don’t know that anyone has…
