Um, I think I was trying to take a picture of my hair (it was up in pigtails), but that didn’t work out so well.

Yeah, I have no idea what the point of this was.

This is what happens when it rains in Baghdad.

Memorial set up on Camp Slayer.

Just a building on Camp Slayer that I thought was interesting.

Perfume Palace on Camp Slayer.  This once belonged to one of Saddam’s sons.  I believe it was a brothel of sorts.

This little lake house is now being used as a theater for the soldiers.

I just love the contrast between this beautiful archway and the razor wire topped wall beneath it.

Al Faw Palace at night.  Unfortunately, they don’t light it up anymore.
