plenty of room

campers at mikkira
We get lots of campers at Mikkira, but as you can see there is plenty of room – there are another 2 or 3 areas this size as well – there are toilets and a (gas) hot shower – but no electricity.
There are also historic stone wall sheep yards, building ruins and a restored building from the 1850s with a thatched roof. (it was featured in ‘Australian Survivor’)

Mikkira Station is a tranquil secluded picnic or camping area set amongst Manna Gums where koalas live freely. Abundant and varied bird life can be observed. The historic area features the circa 1842 restored homestead as seen on the television production Australian Survivor. No motorbikes and no dogs. Toilets and hot shower. Limited wood supplied for camp fires, a number of small wood barbeques
