not ‘FarmWife’ any more..

Just realised my OD is called FarmWife…. and I am not a Farmer’s Wife any more… after 15 years..

I have no sadness about this at all, but I was just wondering if I should change it..

As my ex has somehow managed to spend every single cent of our hard earnt savings and investments since he split from me he is going to have problems borrowing to buy my share of our land. I am wondering if the court will have to give me farm land instead.

I am really hoping they will not make us sell it all because there are farms all around us that have all been for sale for years and years.

I will wait until it is settled (probably not until next year) but I may be changing it to ‘FarmWoman’ !

I might celebrate whole ownership (if it occurs that way) by indulging myself in some pet Angora goats… with electric fencing… They are SO sweet looking and I love their silky fleece.

Snuggling into my (birthday present) Angora throw-rug…

Angora fleece is the most omigod-soft thing EVER. I’m utterly smitten with it. (Favourite thing to knit with too, though it is very floppy haha) I hope the farm stuff gets settled swiftly and civilly. 🙂

Happy belated birthday. Ryn: no, they don’t have to wear uniforms. It’s a private school. The public one in my town doesn’t do uniforms either, though all the Philadelphia schools do.

How are the Mr.’s adjusting? hope you can get out from underneath all the land. You problably need the money. Does He have to pay child support?

Tuffy, the Misters have ‘blossomed’. Didn’t realise how much the man’s craziness frightened them. And the isolation. I can lease some of the land out, that will help. Law here says 18% of income minimum for child support. But the man/farm makes no (taxable) income. Have to wait til court enforces a financial settlement. Been a year so far… sigh…
