Memory Lane
I was thinking about some of the things that my best friend and I have done together and seperately. The one that stands out the most seperately other than her getting married is she was driving to go see her mom and in California traffic is a way of life. Well she was stopped on the freeway when this guy in a yellow mustang started talking to her. Well at the time she was living with me. Well she was sick and the guy wanted to see her so he drove to my house and brought her a can of soup. A can of soup. What was she supposed to do eat it out of the can?
My favorite memory of us together is for her 16th birthday when a bunch of us got into her boyfriend at the time Steven’s mustang. Steven and I were in the front seat. My sister Chastity, Crystal and her cousin, Jessica, and Zach were in the back seat. Crystal was drapped across everyone. Well we went to the Montclair Plaza and were playing tag when my sister ran into a pillar. It was funny. But not the end of the memory. After we left the plaza we went driving for a while. Well the back seat had no seat belts…or so we thought. So Steven turned into a parking lot because there was a cop behind us. He wasn’t pulling us over. Well my best friend Crystal said she was cold and asked if I could roll up the window. So I thought I was rolling up the window until I realized that I had opened the door and my best friend almost fell out of the car. Well we decided that the night was over so Steven was driving people home. We dropped off her cousin. Then we went to drop off Zach and Jessica. At that point is when we found out that there were seat belts in the back seat because Zach told Steven that he had seat belts back there cause one was apparently up his butt. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO funny.
So needless to say I miss my best friend but the memories I have always keep me comfort when I can’t be with her or talk to her. I love you hun.
