We’ll see
I’ve had this diary since 2003 which is shocking especially when I go back through and read some of the oldest entries. Wow was I young, immature, and so dramatic. Thankfully I was dramatic in writing but not in person. Everything is set to private because I figured why not attempt to start over but I’m not sure how long it will last. Over the past few years I’ve written one or two entries a year; I come here often and begin to write but after about one sentence I say forget it, hit delete and leave.
The biggest reason my newest attempt at writing more will probably fail is because I really don’t have much to write about! Pretty much every day consists of the same stuff and reading it once or twice is enough.
One thing I had not written in here since it happened after my last entry which was back in June is that I’m now living almost 2,000 miles away from my boyfriend. At the end of august he moved to TX for work and the last two months have been a big adjustment. We attempted to break up which consisted of still talking every night on the phone till ultimately not even a week later he said he couldn’t do this and he was miserable knowing we weren’t still dating. I guess in reality we didn’t really break up anyways since we still spoke every day and said I love you, miss you multiple times throughout the conversations but the way in which he told me he was miserable without me was extremely sweet.
I have just over a month till I fly out and visit him and we are both counting down the days. I’m going to stay with him through christmas and new years and I already know it will be very difficult to get back on the plane for California afterwards. But I won’t be thinking about that too much right now! There is a possibility that I may be able to move out there either the end of January or beginning of February but it’s still up in the air right now. It all depends on if I receive any new grad offers and where. I would prefer to go to TX of course but if I end up in lets say NC or something I will take it. Thankfully he’s very willing to relocated to anywhere I end up for work as long as we’re together.
Long distance relationships can work. Ask any army couple. I am sure if its meant to be then you will both be strong enough to do it. Love and luck to you both x
