Drive safe people
I came across a wreck this morning. The driver was a teen on his way to school. He hit a patch of ice, lost control and went into a ditch where he rolled a couple of times and took out a fence. I rolled up just after it happened. I pulled over and looked him over. He seemed to walk away with just a couple of scrapes. Amazing given that the cab was crushed. The truck is a total loss. I stayed until the cops and his parents showed up. I stayed until i was sure he was in good hands. It made for an interesting morning .
Good of you to do that. Wonder if he was going a bit to fast for the conditions maybe. The rolling says maybe. Glad that he was unhurt. Nice life lesson there for him.
@petersshadow he said he was only doing 40 and I can believe. The road was dry until it up and around and back down a curve. On the back of the curve it was shaded and water was draining off the hill making ice on the road. He never saw the ice because of the curve. I think he panicked when he hit the ice and it went to shit from there.
