Pure evil from Citizen Link

The following is a video from Focus on the Family’s Citizenlink:

Yep, praying for torrential downpours. Praying for so much rain that people need hip waders. Praying for rain of “Biblical proportions” (presumably as in “Noah and the ark” proportions). All as a “message from God” about the candidate they don’t like. How terribly petty. And evil.

Oh sure, the guy goes on to say that he doesn’t want people to get flooded out of their homes. But let’s be honest here, you’d have to be a total idiot not to realize that “torrential rains” that cause enough flooding to require people to wear hip waders is going to do considerable damage to various properties — not to mention result if a few deaths, more than likely. So we’re left to assume that this guy is either an idiot or being disingenuous about his claims that he doesn’t “really want anyone to get hurt.”

Or I suppose he could claim that it’s all a big joke and he doesn’t really mean anything by it. But would the fact that he’s willing to joke about such things make it any less evil? It sure doesn’t in my book.

Here’s the thing…God doesn’t need to send some sort of sign or message about the candidate. Why? Because He already has. Through the Bible. And if people would read the prophecies and actually pay attention to what is going on around the world, they would know that it doesn’t matter who becomes President at this point in time. EITHER ONE OF THEM will fall into prophecy just as well as the other.

In response to ForeverJack, God said that until the end of the Earth there would be no flood that would destroy the ENTIRE earth such as was experienced in Noah’s day.
