Weekends Are For Partying!

Just not THIS weekend (see entry title).

Next weekend my younger brother on my father side will be staying with us for three days. I haven’t seen him since my sister died in ’93, so it’s been a while. I’m pretty excited. My wife, however, is in a frantic state about the house. Needless to say, I have a fucking honey-do list wait for me for this weekend, which includes resurfacing the kitchen floor. *grumbles* Man, I wish that I were rich. I’d fucking pay someone to do that shit. I’m not happy. Oh, and I’m horny. But that too shall pass. lol

I had a fantastic workout at the gym last night. I did upper body strength training. Tonight it’s cardio. My current gym schedule is thus…

  1. Monday – Cardio
  2. Tuesday – Legs and abs strength training
  3. Wednesday – Off day
  4. Thursday – Upper body strength training
  5. Friday – Cardio
  6. Weekends – PARTY HEARTY!!!… Or do honey-do list, depending.

I made a delicious buffalo chicken sandwich last night. I took two boneless and skinless chicken thighs and hammered them out flat. I then dredged them in buttermilk, then spiced flour, then buttermilk again and finally panko bread crumbs, pressing the bread crumbs firmly into the chicken. I put a large skillet on a medium-high heat on the stove and put extra virgin olive oil in the pan. I seared the chicken in the pan 4 minutes each side. After letting the chicken rest on a plate, I cut the thighs in half and put them between a sliced and toasted kaiser roll (the cut sides toasted in the leftover olive oil in the pan), and separated each cutlet of chicken with a slice of Velveeta cheese, and finally, I topped the top patty with my favorite mild buffalo wing sauce. HEAVEN!! It was sooooo good. I should have taken a picture of my masterpiece. It was a beauty! Next time I top the buffalo wing sauce with the lettuce shreads (like you use on tacos).

Sounds Yummooo

Please tell me more about this magical honey-do list. It’d be my fantasy come true. My guy would tuck it under his keyboard and chuckle at me. =)

I am a fan of a mild Buffalo sauce. What kind do you like? The sandwich sounds wonderful! What kind of cardio?
