shadows collide with people

I finally got myself a copy of John Frusicante’s “Shadows Collide With People”. (Actually, Simon burnt it for me but shh) I’m still undecided. It’s not what “The Will to Death” was. Not to say that that is what I was expecting, but I just haven’t listened to it enough/properly yet to get the vibe. ::shrug::

I spent all day playing guitar and penning down lyrics and music and recording beats and riffs. I feel very drained. I filled pages upon pages with words phrases paragraphs scribbles and i’m not really sure if there’s anything worth using in there. It was the biggest and most productive outburst i’ve had in a while. It was as though I tapped into the headspace I need to be in, or I finally opened the door that was keeping everything in. I’m overreacting and sounding a bit too excited but things like this rarely happen to me.

I’m thinking of stealing the beautiful/wonderful/talented/amazing Steph’s idea for photo requests just so I have something to occupy my time with. Leave a request if you feel.
