There were few other girls at the gestational diabetes class that I attended on Thursday morning for 2 hours. Jays went with me. The class was pretty interesting than I thought. Though, I wished the nurse and the dietition didn’t make too much sceen drawing attention to me that I’m blind. Every time we did an activity, the dietitian would say like, Soo, Jays can help you with this, right? I mean it was thoughtful of her letting me feel each food model to show me how big is a serving of a potato or pasta is, but I was sitting in the front and it was kind of awkward. Jays had fun pricking my finger to get the blood out of my thumb. They found a talking meter for me. That was nice of them. I should’ve started it on Thursday after class, but I haven’t yet. Jays needs to show me how to do it first by myself, but he didn’t have time to yet. Maybe tomorrow.
My cousin gave birth to her baby few days ago and so did my sil’s sister. My time is coming up soon, too.
We received a bill from Joshua’s school few days ago. We were hoping that the scholarship pays the half year first, but they will only pay the half of the month and the other half is our share. 1700 dollars… Then, another 1700 dollars in few weeks… We’re paying it next week, but we decided to just leave earlier. We feel bad, but Joshua will have to go to school for half day again. Just for a short time… Right after the baby’s born, Jays and Joshua will move to California first. Probably at the end of November… I will stay here for 2 months so that the baby can get her 2 month checkup and get her shots done. Elizabeth will be with me. There, Jays will get things ready: kids’ school, doctors, a place to live, the business, etc. We have to finish packing in October at least. I’m a bit worried about the temperature in Bakersfield. Its constantly around 100dg there. I hope the rash won’t be an issue for Joshua.
A best friend came to visit me for a night on Tuesday. I wish we had more time. I haven’t seen her for a year. I’ll get to see her more when I move to California, though. We went to eat at O’Charlie’s. I don’t remember how long it had been for my family to go to a restaurant. I think more than a year…?
here is this Korean singer called Psy. I guess his song the Kangnam Style was a big hit even in America. He was interviewed by American TV stations like CNN and many people here knew him and his song. I youtubed it, and its pretty cool.
Next Sunday is our wedding anniversary. I have a sad wedding memory, but I’m trying to not let it bother me anymore. Maybe in the future, I want to have a proper and beautiful wedding and beautiful pictures. I don’t know what we’ll do next Sunday and maybe I’ll ask my mom to watch the kids for just few hours.
